Recommended New Blog: Deja View

Yesterday a real treat occurred: Andreas Deja launched a blog called Deja View. It talks mainly about the work of the great Disney animators he hung out with for many years and posts never-before released artwork they did. He also will posts work from other artists such as T.S. Sullivant and Heinrich Kley as well as some of his own artwork. During Deja’s leave of absence from Disney he has been working on some of personal projects including a couple of hand-drawn animated shorts and pieces made of wire. Andreas is one of the greatest students of Hollywood Animation, especially in Disney animation, and this will be a great opportunity to learn some insight into the greats of the past and their art. His passion and immense love for Disney animation is contagious and he also has great knowledge of it as well. No one spent more time learning from the great Disney animators and studying their work. This is inspiring to me in itself, excluding the fact he’s one of the greatest living animators today. So go to this link and check out Deja view:
